West Monroe is seeking a QA Automation Engineer II for our Lamina Team. You will work directly with a product team to understand their business needs and deliver QA strategies.

QA Automation Engineer Responsibilities:
Meeting with the software design team to discuss verification protocols.
Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.
Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.
Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.
Designing and installing software databases.
Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.
Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.
Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults.
QA Automation Engineer Requirements:
Experience with cypress
Experience writing scripts in javascript
Experience with manual testing and knowledge on tools like qTest and Test Rail
Ability to differentiate between functional testing and performance testing. Design, execute and document both.
Experience with jUnit, jMeter.
Experience testing REST (APIs)
Understand the difference between unit test and integration test
Familiarity with code coverage analysis
Generate execution plans and analyze queries performance (nice to have)
3+ years previous experience working as a QA automation engineer.
Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.
Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
Eagerness for both manual and automated testing practices.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Good project management skills.
