Head of Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall operations across warehousing, distribution, logistics, fleet, and customs clearance.
• Design and improve warehouse operations, inventory control, space utilization, and loss prevention.
• Manage distribution network planning, route optimization, delivery standards, and fleet performance.
• Ensure on-time and accurate customer deliveries across all channels.
• Monitor logistics costs, productivity, cost per case, and service-level performance.
• Manage customs clearance, import/export documentation, bonded operations, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with customs authorities, clearing agents, 3PL providers, and transport vendors.
• Support operational readiness for new brands, business growth, and regional expansion.
• Improve SOPs, operational governance, productivity, and process efficiency.
• Work closely with commercial, finance, and executive leadership teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, CLTD, Lean Six Sigma, or trade compliance are an advantage.
• 15–20 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or FMCG distribution.
• Minimum 5–7 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong experience in warehousing, inventory, fleet management, distribution, customs clearance, and 3PL management.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, TMS, and inventory systems.
• Regional exposure within Jordan and GCC markets is preferred.
