ESG/sustainability is a continuously evolving landscape and sustainability reporting requirements continue to increase globally. Aside from compliance, organizations are facing greater expectations not only from regulatory bodies, but also from different stakeholders: customers, investors, employees, suppliers, lenders, etc. We are currently expanding our ESG Business Development team to support our Convene ESG Software which aims to support our clients in their sustainability reporting journey from standard compliance to next-level ESG governance. The team will continue to grow over the next years as we continue to expand our market and grow our clients. We are looking for candidates with relevant sustainability and ESG reporting or ratings/analysis background to join our team. The successful candidate is expected to have a strong interest in general ESG trends and topics, as well as a keen eye for details on data/disclosure quality.

The main responsibilities are:

  • Provide day-to-day hands-on sales execution, including marketing requirements.
  • Build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals.
  • Manage pre-sales activities through product demonstrations, advising on bid preparation, support with product pricing and realization of business plan targets.
  • Manage follow-up customer training and product implementation.

The role requires significant interaction with clients/ prospective clients, partners and Azeus personnel in Singapore which may be face-to-face or using other communications media.

Activities include:

  • Develop and maintain a Sales Pipeline, including pursuing sales leads and prospective clients within our CRM.
  • Attend trade shows inter-state (if required).
  • Deliver customer presentations and proposals and negotiate and close business deals.
  • Maintain awareness of legislation and best practice.
  • Provide updates on sales leads to Senior Management.

Experience

  • 2 - 3 years experience in selling ESG products
  • 2 3 years ESG background
  • Experience in demonstrating products to potential clients, including C-Suite representatives
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Must have a global perspective and be able to work in a cross-cultural environment
  • Must be fluent in English
