About the job Website QA Specialist

The Web QA Specialist will be in charge of conducting regular tests and supporting the Website Development team in performing the required daily health check of our websites (web core vitals and technical SEO). The role also requires testing new builds (staging and production), debugging, and improving the usability of our websites. The Web QA Tester is also expected to have an understanding of CMS (WordPress), as well as proficiency on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SEO.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for making sure that our websites are functioning as intended, displaying correctly across different browsers and devices, and reviewing formatting based on approved design.
  • Assist in the facilitation of internal/staging tests and review results to check for issues with our websites.
  • Conduct regular routine tests based on specific parameters to ensure the core website functionalities are working as intended.
  • Regularly monitor the websites for errors and communicate them to the relevant channels.
  • Perform fixes for minor issues in published content via the CMS (WordPress Dashboard)
  • Conduct regular tests of applications such as sign-up and contact forms, etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the published content of our articles, events, news, and other resources complies with our SEO guidelines.
  • Test execution, documentation, and raise bugs, and create progress/audit reports.
  • Ensures that standards are being applied (CMMI LV5 and GDPR) on every project.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • 1-2 years of proven work experience as a QA Specialist or a similar role

  • Familiarity with Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Docker, Katalon, and WordPress
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS (WordPress), and SEO.
  • Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance i.e STLC & SDLC
  • Extensive experience in functional testing, integration testing, and user experience testing
  • Experience in test management tools
  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships

In addition, it would be a plus if the candidate has any of the following:

  • Experience in unit testing, Jenkins, and GitLab

  • Experience in smart automation process
