Roles and Key Responsibilities:

Strategic

  • Collaborating with senior executives to establish and execute a sales goal for the region
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to enable the business to achieve agreed targets in terms of growth and profitability.
  • Identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
  • Establish strategic partnerships to grow the business; Help the team negotiate key partnerships locally, as necessary.
  • Work with Director of Business Development and Marketing team to develop marketing strategy for the region.
  • Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals
  • Maintains sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand.
  • Track competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and the marketing mix used by competitors.
  • Conduct continuous research into new relevant social media channels and their impact on the brands marketing for the region.
  • Oversee the social media strategy for the region to ensure that it aligns with the company's brand.

Sales Management

  • Follow up on all leads assigned.
  • Carry out demos both in person and remotely for the region and for any other sales assigned.
  • Close sales leads assigned to achieve sales target for the region.
  • Assign sales leads to other regional sales representatives.
  • Attend conferences and exhibitions as the regional representative.

Requirements

  • MBA / Degree level education
  • At least five years of regional sales/BD experience in selling software/technology, to corporate executives
  • Has experience in selling software especially in the areas of Software-as-a-Service (SAAS); otherwise demonstrated success with specific sectors such as listed companies, BSFI or government would be an advantage
