System Engineer Trainee

Job responsibilities

• Assist system engineer to conduct system network design and security review;
• Handle server hardware and software installation, and backup configuration;
• Source hardware, software or third-party services for pre-sales projects;
• Handle system maintenance and support calls;
• Liaise with hardware and software vendors for support services;
• Perform system health check and management; and;
• Administer office system and network infrastructure, and provide in-house support.

Job requirements

• Final year students/ graduates of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any IT related disciplines;
• Knowledge of DevOps, Docker, K8s, Ansible is a plus;
• Knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL, MYSQL, or another database is a plus;
• Knowledge of firewall settings and infrastructure security;
• Understanding of SaaS, AWS, AzureProduction Support, ITIL workflow;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
• Works well under pressure and time constraints;
• Proficient in written English and Chinese;
• Fluent in Cantonese and English.
