We're looking for a Lead Automation Test Engineer who is passionate about quality and innovation. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves solving complex problems, and wants to take a leadership role in ensuring high-quality product releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop weekly test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks to support rapid development and delivery cycles.
- Develop automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
- Maintain and improve existing automation suites, ensuring stability, scalability, and speed.
- Execute a wide range of tests including functional, integration, smoke, performance, usability, regression, acceptance, and sanity testing.
- Define and prepare automation test cases based on thorough review of product requirements, functional specs, and design documents.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high test coverage and immediate feedback on every code deployment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and project teams to gain deep understanding of the product and ensure test coverage aligns with business goals.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing practices, including the adoption of AI tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.
What Were Looking For:
- Proven experience in both automation and manual testing (functional, end-to-end, regression, performance, etc.)
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with Robot Framework and any RDBMS preferably PostgreSQL
- Strong background in designing automation frameworks and writing test scripts for complex applications (multiple interfaces, microservices, APIs)
- Comfortable using AI-powered tools to enhance speed, accuracy, and testing coverage
- Experience with API testing using SOAPUI or Postman
- Knowledge of Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Cucumber, and Java is a strong plus
- Familiarity with JUnit is a bonus
- Solid grasp of QA processes including requirement analysis, test strategy, defect tracking, and reporting
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, with good understanding of product development life cycles
- Prior experience leading a small QA/testing team
- Experience in conducting training or knowledge transfer sessions is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
