Caliber Paving is expanding into the Phoenix market and is looking for an experienced Asphalt Foreman / Superintendent to help lead field operations, crews, production, safety, quality, and day-to-day job execution.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands asphalt paving, parking lot maintenance, patching, overlays, sealcoat, crack fill, striping coordination, and commercial paving work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead asphalt crews in the field and help manage daily operations.
  • Oversee job setup, production, equipment, materials, trucking, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Review scopes of work, site conditions, job notes, and customer expectations before work begins.
  • Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and to Caliber Paving standards.
  • Communicate daily with leadership, sales, estimating, vendors, subcontractors, and customers.
  • Track crew hours, materials, equipment use, production updates, photos, delays, and completion notes.
  • Identify change order opportunities, scope gaps, jobsite issues, and quality concerns early.
  • Maintain a strong safety-first culture on every project.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of asphalt, paving, parking lot maintenance, or related construction experience.
  • 2+ years in a foreman, superintendent, crew lead, or field leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of asphalt paving, patching, overlays, sealcoat, crack fill, and parking lot maintenance.
  • Ability to lead crews, solve problems in the field, and communicate professionally with customers.
  • Experience coordinating labor, equipment, materials, trucking, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in Phoenix conditions, including early mornings, long days, and occasional nights or weekends.

Preferred

  • Commercial paving experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • CDL or equipment operating experience.
  • Familiarity with Phoenix-area vendors, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
