Position Summary:
As an Account Manager at Caliber Paving, you will play a key role in driving business growth by building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new project opportunities, and ensuring the successful execution of asphalt paving and pavement maintenance projects. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing accurate project estimates, negotiating contracts, and assist in overseeing project completion while promoting Caliber Pavings core values. Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients by understanding their specific needs and providing tailored asphalt solutions.
- Maintain regular communication through site visits, meetings, and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Sales and Business Development:
- Proactively identify new business opportunities by networking, attending industry events, and engaging with key decision-makers in the construction and property management industries.
- Generate leads through prospecting efforts and build a strong pipeline of potential projects.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase presence and achieve revenue targets.
Project Estimating and Contract Negotiation:
- Analyze project requirements, site conditions, and client expectations to create accurate estimates for labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals to clients, ensuring clarity in scope, pricing, and required timelines.
- Negotiate contract terms to secure profitable deals while maintaining strong client relationships.
Project Oversight and Execution:
- Work closely with internal teams, including field crews, to ensure seamless execution of asphalt paving, sealcoating, striping, and pavement maintenance projects.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
- Address any project challenges proactively to maintain client satisfaction and project integrity.
Customer Satisfaction and Retention:
- Provide top-tier customer service by promptly addressing client needs and maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Follow up on completed projects to gather feedback, assess client satisfaction, and explore future opportunities.
- Foster long-term client partnerships by demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.
Industry Knowledge and Market Awareness:
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to better serve clients and identify new opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales strategies and business development efforts.

- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients.
- Technical proficiency in project management software, estimating tools, and CRM systems.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial data and assess project profitability.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
