Location: Randburg, Gauteng (Office-Based) 

Company: Our client is a leading Firewall and Cybersecurity solutions provider based in Roodepoort, South Africa. They specialise in providing cutting-edge firewall solutions to businesses of all sizes, but with a specific niche in the education sector. They are a home-grown Cybersecurity business whose product competes on the global stage.

About the Role

This role is multi-faceted. Primarily focused on connecting with prospective clients and generating new business opportunities, by making outbound sales calls, setting up demo appointments and assisting with other sales and marketing activities.

It offers a chance to develop a broad skill set within a collaborative business environment, where your contributions are visible and valued.

You'll be a critical part of a small and effective team, where you can grow a broad sales skill set in a stable and supportive environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce services and identify potential needs, primarily engaging with IT Managers.
  • Work to secure qualified appointments and product demonstrations for the senior sales team.
  • Research and identify new prospective clients and market segments to support sales campaigns.
  • Represent the company at industry roadshows and events, which may require infrequent national travel.
  • Assist with the coordination of client activities and provide support for internal sales-related functions.

Candidate Profile:

  • Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in Afrikaans is highly advantageous.
  • A confident and professional communication style, comfortable with making outbound calls to business clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build professional rapport.
  • A motivated and results-oriented approach to work.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to adapt to varied tasks.
  • An interest in technology or IT security, along with an aptitude for learning new products and sales processes.
  • Some previous experience in a sales, telemarketing, or customer-facing role is beneficial.
