Job Summary:

As a Firewall & Network Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and providing pre-sales services for their client base. You will work closely with their clients to deploy, and troubleshoot their products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain network and firewall infrastructure for our clients.

- Conduct network and security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.

- Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, routers, and other network devices.

- Monitor network traffic and security logs for potential threats and take necessary actions to mitigate them.

- Collaborate with the sales team to provide pre-sales support, including creating proposals and conducting presentations to potential clients.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to firewalls and network security.

- Provide technical support to clients, including responding to service requests and resolving network and security issues.

- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for internal and client use.

- Travel to client sites as needed for project deployments and support.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in a client-facing role.

- Strong knowledge of firewalls, switches, routers, and other network devices.

- Experience with network security protocols, such as VPN, SSL, and IPsec.

- Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools.

- Familiarity with cloud-based networking and security solutions.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
