Job Title: IT Business Analyst M&A & Digital Projects

About the Role
Our client, a specialized consulting firm focused on private equity engagements, is looking for a IT Business Analyst M&A & Digital Projects to join their team.
This role is ideal for early-career professionals with experience in IT strategy, digital transformation, and operational analysis. As a Consultant, you’ll support a range of projects including digital due diligence, post-merger integration, ERP strategy, and broader operational improvement initiatives. You’ll also contribute to internal firm development efforts such as research, training material creation, and methodology development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of digital due diligence projects, including project kickoff, data analysis, team coordination, and client deliverables.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma and related tools to map processes, identify inefficiencies, and support data-driven insights.
- Assist in shaping future-state digital and IT operating models, cost synergy evaluations, cybersecurity assessments, and application landscape analysis.
- Contribute to post-merger integration workstreams such as IT consolidation, data migration, and organizational planning.
- Develop tools, templates, and frameworks for use across digital and technology consulting engagements.
- Collaborate with Digital & Technology team members to ensure knowledge sharing and project alignment.
- Build statistical models and perform data analysis to support client recommendations.
- Create high-quality presentations and client-facing materials.
- Support project management efforts, including Gantt charts, metrics tracking, and documentation.
- Assist with internal initiatives such as white papers, practice tools, and research.
Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in consulting or relevant industry roles with a focus on information technology.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, including selection and implementation processes.
- Solid grasp of IT systems, operations, and value creation levers.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skillswritten, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or willingness to obtain once hired).
- MBA preferred but not required.
