Job Title: Cybersecurity Architect Cloud & Governance
About the Role
Our client, a global consulting firm working with leading private equity firms and enterprise clients, is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect Cloud & Governance to join their team.
This is a high-impact role for a seasoned technical expert with deep knowledge of cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and cloud platforms. You’ll lead the design and execution of secure, scalable architecture strategies while guiding cross-functional teams through cloud transformation, governance, and cyber defense implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise architecture strategies aligned with business objectives and cybersecurity best practices.
- Lead cloud migration and application modernization initiatives across hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud).
- Develop and execute cybersecurity strategies based on frameworks like NIST, leveraging tools such as Azure Defender, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and GCP Security Command Center.
- Define and establish governance models for secure software development, deployment, and operational architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, operations, architecture) to ensure technical alignment and seamless project delivery.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to shape technical roadmaps and implementation plans.
- Mentor and guide technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation, security, and continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in enterprise IT architecture and cybersecurity leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms, particularly GCP and Azure.
- Strong foundation in service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and integration frameworks.
- Professional certifications strongly preferred: CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA, SSCP, or similar.
- Familiarity with governance and architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, OSSIM, and eTOM.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative mindset.
