Sales Development Representative (SDR) Hospitality & Entertainment Focus
Our client is a fast-growing startup transforming how hospitality and entertainment businesses pay their vendors and contractors. Their platform automates invoice processing, ACH payments, and 1099 compliance, eliminating the manual chaos many restaurants, hotels, venues, and production companies face each week.
About the Role
As an SDR, you'll be the driving force behind new business growth. You'll focus on outbound prospecting, targeting businesses across hospitality and entertainment. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you'll collaborate directly with the founding team, help shape the go-to-market strategy, and engage directly with decision-makers.
What you'll do

Proactively hunt and qualify leads in sectors like restaurants, hotels, venues, event production companies, and studios

Build a strong pipeline through cold calls, emails, and outreach campaigns

Collaborate closely with a small, agile team on messaging, positioning, and product feedback

Meet and exceed aggressive sales targets in a fast-paced environment
What we're looking for
Must-Haves:

2-4 years of B2B sales experience with a strong record of meeting or exceeding quota

Hunter mentality, you thrive on finding new business and building relationships from scratch

Familiarity with the hospitality or restaurant industry and its operational challenges

Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change, this is a startup environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, clear, confident, and persuasive
Nice-to-Haves:

Experience selling to SMB decision-makers (e.g., restaurant owners, venue managers)

Background in fintech, payments, or accounting software
