About the job General Manager
Our client is an independent 5-star luxury boutique resort located in Labuan Bajo, gateway to Komodo National Park. They are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to provide strategic leadership, oversee daily operations, and elevate the resort's positioning as a premier luxury destination.
The ideal candidate will bring solid international hospitality experience, strong financial and operational expertise, and a proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences while inspiring a high-performing team.
Requirements:
- Proven track record as a Resort Manager in luxury 5-star hotels or resorts for a minimum of two years, with a minimum of three years of consistent tenure per property.
- Solid work experience in other luxury brands in Indonesia and other major international destinations in Southeast Asia is desired.
- Excellent leadership, guest engagement, financial acumen, and ability to uphold and elevate service standards at an international luxury level.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and operational expertise within the luxury hospitality brand.
- Comprehensive knowledge of resort operations, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa services.
- Proven track record in managing a high volume of operations or hotel occupancy.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Creative and innovative mindset, committed to driving excellence.
- Strong financial insight and operational expertise.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Warm, present, and highly guest-focused.
- Detail-oriented with strong operational discipline.
- Proven experience working in close partnership with a Founder or principal stakeholder.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operational aspects of the resort, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa services, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire a diverse team to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Maintain the highest standards of service quality and ensure outstanding guest satisfaction.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and dynamic work environment that promotes team engagement and excellence.
- Analyse Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and implement impactful strategies to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Achieve hotel budget targets and establish both short-term and long-term strategic objectives for the property.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance operational productivity and profitability.
- Guide and support the Hotel Executive team, fostering their professional growth and ensuring clear paths for career development.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and cost control measures.
- Balance financial performance with an uncompromised guest experience.
- Uphold international 5-star luxury standards.
