Our client, an ultra-luxury 5-star resort ranked among the top ten resorts in the Maldives, renowned for its world-class service and bespoke guest experiences, is seeking an in-house Personal Trainer to deliver exceptional, tailored fitness and wellness experiences to its guests.
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience working as a Fitness Instructor within a 5-star luxury hotel or resort setting.

A highly competent Fitness Instructor with solid expertise in boxing, able to deliver safe, effective, and engaging training sessions.

Strong capability in performing movement, posture, and functional assessments to evaluate physical condition, mobility limitations, imbalances, and potential injury risks.

Proven experience in interpreting assessment results and designing structured, personalized training programs aligned with individual goals, health considerations, and fitness levels.

Confident in conducting one-on-one personal training as well as group fitness and boxing classes, adjusting programs according to client progress or injuries.

Demonstrates a holistic training philosophy, incorporating mobility, stability, strength, conditioning, rehabilitation, and prehabilitation methodologies.

Excellent spoken and written English skills; proficiency in additional languages is considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional, engaging, and safe strength and conditioning training sessions, integrating full-contact combat sports disciplines such as Boxing, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, or MMA, tailored to the individual needs and goals of each guest.

Coach guests of all fitness levels—from beginners to advanced—ensuring correct technique, movement mechanics, and strong foundational skills.

Design and implement structured, results-driven training programmes focused on strength, power, endurance, mobility, injury prevention, and weight management.

Conduct fitness assessments and ongoing progress evaluations, providing expert guidance, motivation, and programme adjustments throughout the guest journey.

Ensure all sessions follow appropriate warm-ups, progressions, recovery protocols, and injury-prevention practices.

Create a welcoming, calm, and motivating training environment that reflects the resorts luxury wellness standards.

Demonstrate strong alignment with the organisations culture, service standards, and core values in all guest and team interactions.

Collaborate closely with the spa and wellness team to deliver integrated wellness programmes and bespoke guest experiences.

Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, including emergency response procedures and proper use of equipment.

Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety of all fitness and combat training areas and equipment.

Monitor industry trends in strength & conditioning, combat sports, and wellness, and continuously enhance training quality and guest experience.
- Act as a role model in professionalism, grooming, and guest engagement at all times.
