About the job Head Chef
Our client, a renowned international cafe and bistro known in Canggu, is seeking an experienced Head Chef to join their dynamic team.
As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations, creating innovative and enticing menus, managing kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and collaborating with other departments to create unique dining experiences that align with the brand guideline.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Culinary arts is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Head Chef or 3 years solid experience as a Sous Chef from a well-established restaurant or cafe brands in Seminyak, Canggu or Pererenan area.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in menu development and culinary innovation, with a focus on creating unique, high-quality dining experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all culinary operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Create innovative and appealing menus that align with the restaurant's concept and customer preferences
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Control inventory and order supplies, managing food costs and minimizing waste
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house and management, to ensure seamless service
- Monitor food quality and consistency, ensuring every dish meets the established standards
- Develop and implement kitchen procedures for efficient workflow and optimal kitchen performance
- Handle customer feedback and address any concerns related to food quality or service
