Our esteemed client, an ultra-luxury resort nestled in the pristine beauty of The Maldives, is actively seeking a well-structured and talented Graphic Designer to be based in-house.

As a Graphic Designer, you are responsible for creating visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform and captivate consumers. In addition, you will assist the Brand Team in planning and implementing the Marketing Creative Strategy.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Graphic Designer in the hospitality field.
  • Proficient in graphic design software, Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with design software and technologies such as InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Illustrator.
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics in a similar 5* luxury resort is a plus!
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in a remote location preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Fully understand and embrace the company vision and values and their application in all tasks associated with the colleagues' duties.
  • Adhere to all company brand standards ensuring successful communication across all levels of operation.
  • Working closely with the marketing team and operation to conceptualize marketing creative campaigns.
  • Study design briefs and determine requirements.
  • Every design has to be confirmed by the brand team before delivering it to Operations.
  • Schedule projects and conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
  • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software.
  • Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic.
  • Work with copywriters and creative director and brand team to produce the final design.
  • Test graphics across various media.
  • Amend designs after feedback from the brand team.
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
  • Being Responsible for developing various types of creative content for advertisements, brochures, or magazines.
