Our client is a luxury boutique hotel focused on connection, simplicity, and calm, located in Uluwatu, Bali. They are seeking an Accounting Consultant to lead the selection, implementation, and integration of an accounting system with their hotel and restaurant platforms, while establishing efficient financial processes to support daily operations and long-term business growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or accounting consultancy.

Proven experience implementing and configuring accounting software, including system setup, chart of accounts, and workflow design.

Experience integrating accounting systems with third-party platforms such as PMS, POS, or other hospitality software (experience with Cloudbeds and/or Poster POS is highly preferred).

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, bookkeeping processes, and Indonesian tax compliance.

Experience managing accounting system migrations or digital transformation projects is an advantage.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across operational and finance teams.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Available to work on a consultancy basis for an initial 1–3-month project, with the possibility of a longer-term engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the company's accounting requirements and recommend the most suitable accounting software solution.

Lead the implementation, configuration, and setup of the selected accounting software.

Integrate the accounting system with Cloudbeds (Property Management System) and Poster POS, ensuring seamless data synchronization.

Design accounting workflows and ensure daily operational transactions are accurately recorded and processed.

Configure the chart of accounts, financial reporting structure, and system settings to support business operations.

Test system integrations and validate the accuracy of financial data throughout the implementation process.

Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide guidance or training to internal users on the new accounting system.

Ensure financial records are accurately maintained and can be efficiently handed over to the external tax accountants for tax reporting and compliance.

Provide ongoing accounting support, including bookkeeping, payment processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting if engaged beyond the initial implementation project.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and operational efficiency through system optimization.
