About the job Wedding and Event Manager
Our client is a luxury independent resort located in Payangan, Bali. They are currently seeking an experienced Wedding and Event Manager to lead, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, ensuring exceptional service and memorable guest experiences.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Management, Hospitality, Event Planning, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in event planning, coordination, or management preferably within the hospitality, MICE, or tourism industry.

Skilled in organizing various types of events, including weddings, with the ability to manage the entire process from concept to execution.

Strong leadership qualities with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms is a plus.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as needed based on event schedules.
Responsibilities:
Event Strategy & Planning
- Develop event concepts, themes, and overall execution strategies based on client and brand objectives.
- Lead client consultations to identify needs, expectations, and vision for the event.
- Oversee preparation of detailed event proposals, budgeting, and timelines.
Ensure timely approvals, procurement, and pre-event readiness.
Operational Leadership
- Supervise and direct the event execution process from setup to breakdown.
- Coordinate with internal departments (F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security) to ensure smooth operations.
- Act as the main point of contact during events, handling all client/vendor inquiries and troubleshooting in real-time.
Ensure all event standards are met or exceeded.
Client Experience & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients before, during, and after events.
Handle client feedback professionally and implement improvements.
- Lead post-event evaluations to assess outcomes and areas for development.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Approve event-related financial documents including vendor payments, cost summaries, and billing.
Monitor event budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
Ensure accurate event documentation and archiving.
Marketing & Partnership Development
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote resort-hosted events and brand visibility.
- Support creation of marketing collateral, digital content, and event promotions.
- Develop partnerships with external vendors, entertainers, sponsors, and media.
Team Management & Development
- Lead and mentor the Event team (Assistant Manager, Coordinators) to perform effectively.
- Schedule staff and delegate responsibilities to ensure efficient event execution.
- Conduct regular training, performance reviews, and team-building activities.
