About the job Chef de Partie - Pastry (Pre-opening)
Our client is a specialty coffee company recognised globally for its modern concept stores, artisanal offerings, and innovative culinary approach. They are currently seeking a CDP Pastry to join their pre-opening team and craft high-quality desserts and baked goods that reflect the brands modern, creative identity.
This is a hands-on position with a small-scale daily production setup. The role offers an excellent opportunity for chefs with a few years of pastry experience who are eager to grow and develop their skills in an international environment.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a pastry kitchen, ideally as a CDP Pastry.
- Solid foundation in pastry and bakery production, including doughs, creams, mousses, and plated desserts.
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene, HACCP, and food safety standards.
- Ability to manage daily production efficiently, either independently or alongside another CDP.
- Creative and detail-oriented, with a passion for artisanal, high-quality products.
- Open to learning and development, with a positive and adaptable attitude.

Experience in gelato or ice cream production is an advantage.
- Flexible to adapt to a pre-opening environment and small-scale operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and prepare all pastry and bakery items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure product consistency, portion control, and presentation alignment with brand standards.
- Assist in creating and testing new menu items and seasonal specials.
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and hygiene within the pastry kitchen.

Monitor inventory and communicate ingredient needs promptly.
- Uphold company standards for food safety, product quality, and kitchen discipline.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary and service teams to support smooth daily operations.
