Our client, an ultra-luxury resort ranked among the top ten in the Maldives, renowned for its world-class service and transformative guest experiences, is now seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Landscaping Manager to lead and elevate all landscaping, horticulture, and garden operations across the property, ensuring every outdoor space is maintained to the highest standards of beauty, functionality, and guest experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Landscape Manager or horticulture leadership role.

Degree or diploma in Horticulture, Landscaping, Agriculture, or a related field preferred.

Strong knowledge of landscaping maintenance, horticulture, irrigation, nursery management, and pest control.

Proven experience managing large-scale landscaped areas, including villas, farms, public spaces, pathways, and back-of-house areas.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and prepare operational reports.

Familiar with SOP implementation, service standards, and workplace safety practices.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Creative, open-minded, and solution-oriented approach.
- Positive attitude with flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, organize, and supervise all landscaping and gardening operations across the property.

Ensure all landscaped areas, including gardens, villas, public areas, beaches, pathways, outlets, and back-of-house areas, are maintained to the highest aesthetic and horticultural standards.

Oversee nursery operations, planting schedules, pruning, fertilizing, mulching, watering, and seasonal landscaping plans.

Manage and maintain landscape lighting related to plants and garden features.

Develop and implement integrated pest control programs, including coordination with third-party vendors.

Ensure timely response to guest requests, complaints, and operational issues related to landscaping.

Coordinate closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and consistent service standards.

Maintain accurate records of landscaping activities, inventories, pest control, and maintenance schedules.

Prepare reports on departmental performance, operational costs, and improvement plans.

Ensure all SOPs, manuals, and operational documents are updated and properly implemented.

Monitor project timelines and ensure landscaping tasks are completed according to schedule and standards.

Control departmental expenses and protect company assets while maintaining high guest satisfaction.

Promote a safe and secure working environment for employees and guests.
- Lead and motivate the landscaping team while acting as a role model and maintaining high service standards.
