Job Description:

MISSION

• Contribute to a safe engineering watch in a manned engine-room or designated to perform duties in a periodically unmanned engine-room. 
• Perform the marine engineering function at support level as indicated in regulation III/4 and/or III/5. Execute the assigned work tasks within the frame of own responsibilities and/or qualifications. Maintain safe working practices

TASKS

• Report to Engineer on watch, execute the assigned work tasks within the frame of own responsibilities
• Assist with engine room operations and watch keeping
• Carry out maintenance as directed by own STCW regulation
