Job description:

Mission

As Project Manager – Energy, your mission is to ensure the efficient planning, execution, and delivery of offshore and energy projects while supporting business growth through accurate commercial quotations. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, safeguarding quality, safety, and compliance standards, and maximizing value for both clients and the company across complex energy and offshore operations.

Tasks

  • Prepare, coordinate, and deliver accurate and competitive commercial quotations for offshore and energy projects
  • Plan, manage, and execute assigned projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and in line with contractual and QHSSE requirements
  • Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, agents, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution
  • Monitor project performance, costs, risks, and financial results, proactively identifying and mitigating issues
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders, including regular financial and non-financial reporting
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, GAC Code of Ethics, HSSE standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Supervise energy department personnel and manage third-party resources where required
  • Support the General Manager with additional operational or project-related duties as needed

Technical Knowledge

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, Energy Technology, Marine/Offshore Studies, or a related field (Masters degree is an advantage)
  • Formal project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred; offshore, energy, or HSE certifications are an asset
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in energy and/or offshore project management, including commercial tendering and project delivery
  • Strong understanding of offshore and energy project lifecycles, cost estimation, contract management, and QHSSE requirements
  • Knowledge of offshore logistics, marine operations, and relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project); familiarity with project management tools, ERP systems, and reporting software
