Role Description
Mission
Coordinate the welding, NDT, ECA and FJC activities and personnel to optimize the projects performance in accordance
with Client requirements, within time and cost constraints and in compliance with HSE and Quality procedures
Ensure the achievement of the established cost, time, productivity, KPI, quality, health and safety objectives in order to meet
the contractual obligation
Contribute to the capitalization of Project experience to improve and harmonize pipeline technologies work methodologies
through continuous improvement and best practices
Tasks
Coordinate activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements
Coordinate the discipline service lead in task force
Represent Company towards Clients and Subcontractors managing also contractual aspects
Ensure the proper contract analysis and the review of contractual documents in relation to pipeline technologies scope
Organize and hold the project pipeline technologies kick-off meeting
Ensure the achievement of the assigned goal and the fulfilment of the Project quality and contractual requirements
Define project pipeline technologies strategies and the scope of work of each party (e.g. Proposal Plan, Project
Architecture, Project Organization, Project Execution Plan, Quality Plan, Procurement Plan, Overall Resource Plan, etc.),
ensuring the pipeline activity planning
Approve and supervise planning and cost control activities supported by the pipeline technologies discipline department,
implementing the corrective actions needed to achieve the established project objectives
Negotiate with Client to reach agreement, commercial, contractual, and technical aspects of the proposal and of the
variation orders
Ensure the handover between pipeline technologies tendering phase and execution phase of the project
Supervise pipeline technologies engineering, operation and procurement activities supported by the discipline service leads
Support the construction team in implementing the engineering solutions at site
Support Project teams to solve non-standard technical issues
Monitor discipline project KPIs, productivity and cycle times
Review and monitor the schedule and the progress of each discipline:
- during the welding qualification, AUT validation and PQT
- during offshore mobilization and preproduction and production activities
Guarantee the technical support to project for the interface with the materials engineering disciplines
Optimize technologies of the various disciplines to maximize the project performance
Endorse the discipline return of experience and contribute to the capitalization of project experience
