Job Title: Offshore Survey Engineer / Coordinator
Qualifications & Experience:
- 
Degree or specialization in Hydrography. 
- 
Offshore construction survey experience is mandatory. 
- 
Experience with data acquisition in: - 
Geophysical surveys 
- 
Geotechnical surveys 
- 
ROV-based surveys 
- 
Subsea structures (jackets, pipelines, float-over operations) 
 
- 
- 
Strong knowledge of data processing, GIS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office suite. 
- 
Experience coordinating between office survey teams, active offshore projects, and BIDs. 
Essential Skills:
- 
Ability to scan seabed data and conduct post-construction surveys on jackets, cables, and subsea pipelines. 
- 
Strong understanding of survey methodologies, positioning accuracy, and engineering constraints. 
- 
Experience managing survey subcontractors and offshore survey personnel. 
- 
Effective communication skills for interfacing with internal teams and clients. 
- 
Proven ability to handle survey equipment requisitions, costs, budgets, and quality control. 
Key Responsibilities:
- 
Define survey and positioning methodologies and accuracy standards. 
- 
Coordinate and review engineering documentation relevant to survey operations. 
- 
Determine manning requirements, prepare survey procedures, and scopes of work. 
- 
Interface with ROV teams for equipment selection and task definition. 
- 
Monitor and support the full cycle of offshore survey activities, ensuring adherence to specifications. 
- 
Manage survey data QC, reporting, charting, and delivery formats. 
- 
Provide support during tender preparation and project planning phases. 
- 
Monitor and control survey-related budgets and costs. 
- 
Ensure compliance with company QHSE procedures and support continuous technology improvement.
