Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage end-to-end contracting for enhanced returns and performance.
  2. Develop aligned procurement strategies.
  3. Navigate challenges of rapid growth and shifting priorities.
  4. Optimize contracts to impact Marine spend.
  5. Identify and execute synergy opportunities.
  6. Secure end user buy-in for smooth implementation.
  7. Establish KPIs and supplier scorecards for improvement.
  8. Optimize suppliers database through research.
  9. Develop effective supplier relationships and risk management.
  10. Address failures of contracted suppliers.
  11. Conduct vendor audits for compliance.
  12. Manage contracting cycle from pre- to post-award.
  13. Evaluate contract risks and implement protections.
  14. Provide expert advice on Marine procurement.
  15. Recommend procurement strategies with analysis.


Qualifications:

  • University degree in Procurement, Law, Business Administration, or Engineering (Masters preferred).
  • CIPS membership preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in Marine Procurement, with 1 year in a similar role.
  • Proficient in contract handling across disciplines.
  • Proven vendor and contract management experience.

Job Skills:

  • Familiarity with marine regulations and vendors, especially in LPG.
  • Proactive approach.
  • Knowledgeable in contract law, strategic sourcing, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to develop and present compelling business cases.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain management.
  • Analytical, commercially savvy, IT proficient (MS Office, SAP), preferably AMOS.
  • Hands-on experience in global best practices adoption.
