Project Initiation Phase:
- 
Establish and implement the project Cost Control System, including the Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS). 
- 
Review procurement/accounting systems for compliance and traceability of costs. 
- 
Issue project-specific documentation: Cost Control Procedure, Cost Coding Manual, and Risk Management Plan. 
- 
Define cost allocations across entities, currencies, and accounts; develop project cash-flow forecasts. 
- 
Lead initial risk management workshops and perform qualitative/quantitative risk assessments. 
- 
Conduct Monte Carlo risk analysis. 
Execution Phase:
- 
Ensure the Cost Control System functions effectively and delivers reliable cost status updates. 
- 
Monitor progress, earned value, and actual vs. forecast cost performance; determine monthly accruals. 
- 
Support contract change and claim processes with impact analyses and updated forecasts. 
- 
Review ongoing costs and forecast estimates; highlight deviations and propose corrective actions. 
- 
Maintain and update risk registers, coordinate feedback from risk owners. 
- 
Produce timely and accurate cost and progress reports. 
Project Close-Out:
- 
Assist in preparing the final Project Close-Out Report. 
- Provide cost feedback data for future project planning and commercial analysis. 
Requirements:
- 
Degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field. 
- 
Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control on large-scale EPC or infrastructure projects. 
- 
Expertise in CBS development, forecasting, and risk management tools (incl. Monte Carlo). 
- 
Proficient in SAP, Primavera, or similar project control software. 
- 
Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills. 
- 
Fluent in English.
