Job Title: Vessel ICT Technician

Location: Worldwide 

Job Description:

• Monitor and control on-board electrical/electronic equipment according to safety procedures
• Define maintenance work setting priorities and propose maintenance schedule
• Propose to own superior the required quantity of material stock levels in order to maintain work continuity
• Ensure that work activities are carried out in compliance with safety procedures and practices
• Ensure the efficiency and the maintenance of ICT equipment (server, communication antennas, telephone system)
• Apply the modification needed in order to the vessel to be in compliance with the project IT requirements

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Previous experience as a Vessel ICT Technician on board offshore vessels.
• Previous experience in a similar offshore role will be considered a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco infrastructure, including Layer 3 switches and VLAN configuration.
• Ability to manage and integrate IT and OT (Operational Technology) networks in accordance with cybersecurity requirements.
• Experience supporting onboard network, communication and IT systems.
