Job Summary

We are seeking a patient, disciplined, and nurturing Lower Primary Teacher to support early childhood development using Montessori-based and child-centred approaches. The ideal candidate will model strong values, structure, and care for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Lower Primary pupils using Montessori and age-appropriate methods
• Support early literacy, numeracy, and social development
• Create a safe, engaging, and disciplined classroom environment
• Monitor and document pupil progress
• Communicate effectively with parents and school leadership
• Support pupils emotional, social, and moral development
• Maintain organised learning materials and classroom structure

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood or Primary Education
• Experience teaching Lower Primary pupils
• Knowledge of Montessori methods is an advantage
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Practising Christian with strong values and discipline (preferred)
• Experience in a Christian school is an advantage
• Proximity to Achimota or nearby areas preferred
