Job Summary

We are seeking a disciplined Creative Arts Teacher to teach Junior High School students, with a strong focus on JHS3 BECE readiness. The ideal candidate will balance creativity with structure, discipline, and exam performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Creative Arts in line with the GES curriculum
• Prepare JHS3 students for BECE examinations
• Develop lesson plans that balance creativity and exam requirements
• Guide students through practical art projects and theory
• Assess student performance through tests, projects, and exams
• Maintain student portfolios and academic records
• Participate in school activities, exhibitions, and staff meetings
• Promote discipline, values, and respect in the classroom

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Creative Arts, Art Education, or related field
• Experience teaching JHS3 and preparing students for exams
• Strong practical art skills and classroom organisation
• Result-driven with strong classroom discipline
• Practising Christian with strong moral values (preferred)
• Experience in a Christian school is an advantage
• Proximity to Achimota or nearby areas preferred
