About the job Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving BKS's growth in Thailand by securing new business opportunities in both the government and private sectors. This individual will leverage their extensive sales experience and deep understanding of the Thai market to build strong relationships, identify client needs, and promote BKS's comprehensive suite of digital transformation solutions.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and market share growth in Thailand.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the Thai government (e.g., Ministries of Agriculture, Finance, MDES) and key private sector industries (e.g., Agriculture, Manufacturing, Finance, Retail, Tourism).
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress and providing accurate forecasts.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
Government Sector Engagement:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in Thai government ministries and agencies.
- Develop and present compelling proposals for e-government initiatives and digital transformation projects.
- Navigate the government procurement process and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Facilitate the strategic relationship with the Thai government.
Private Sector Sales:
- Identify and target key accounts in the top industries in Thailand, promoting BKS's digital transformation solutions.
- Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Promote and sell ERP solutions (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365) with integrated AI capabilities to the SMB market.
- Develop strategic partnership with major cloud and technology providers.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business challenges and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with VNS and other BKS teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and services.
- Build relationships with high-education institutions like universities.
Brand Building and Thought Leadership:
- Represent BKS at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials and thought leadership content.
- Promote BKS's commitment to corporate social responsibility and environmental sustainability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development and sales, preferably in the IT consulting or solutions industry.
- Extensive experience selling to both the Thai government and private sector.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation technologies and trends, including AI, GenAI, Blockchain, IoT, Cloud Computing, and Cybersecurity.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong network of contacts in the Thai government and business community.
- Fluency in Thai and English languages.
- Deep understanding of the Thai business culture and regulatory environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP solution sales is highly desirable.
