Job Summary:

We are seeking a versatile and resourceful Market Researcher with a strong ability to dive deeply into specific subject areas, extract relevant information from a wide range of internet and offline sources, and synthesize clear, actionable strategies. This role is ideal for someone who is not only skilled in traditional market research but is also a self-driven investigator, capable of navigating complex or niche topics and uncovering insights that others might miss.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rapidly develop domain knowledge in unfamiliar or emerging subject areas through self-guided research.
  • Identify credible data points and insights from a mix of sources: online platforms, academic journals, industry reports, forums, databases, expert interviews, and more.
  • Conduct competitive analysis, trend tracking, and market sizing using both primary and secondary research techniques.
  • Turn fragmented, qualitative and quantitative data into coherent summaries, reports, and strategic recommendations.
  • Create structured research frameworks and deliverables (e.g., SWOT analysis, opportunity matrices, customer personas, market maps).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product, marketing, leadership) to ensure research aligns with business goals and informs decision-making.
  • Monitor changes in consumer behavior, technology, regulations, and market dynamics within selected verticals.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams product, strategy, sales, and marketing to ensure research outcomes align with business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise (2+ years) in market research
  • Deep understanding of industry-specific data sources, frameworks, and regulatory environments.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, especially for technical or executive audiences.
  • Expert in using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini), online search.
  • Ability to synthesize technical and commercial data into strategic insights.
  • Good in both speaking & written English
  • Good in Microsoft Office product (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Team)
  • Familiarity with software and application development is plus.
