About the Company:
Our client is a renowned global fashion and lifestyle brand with a strong presence across Asia-Pacific and worldwide. They are seeking an experienced and culturally adept Global Head of Social Responsibility to join their leadership team in Viet Nam, driving impactful social sustainability initiatives across their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a holistic social sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals while managing cross-functional collaboration to meet targets on time and within budget.
- Process Optimization: Design and implement standardized social sustainability frameworks, including process improvements, organizational adjustments, and tool enhancements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong partnerships with manufacturing units to promote social sustainable practices and uphold ethical standards, including compliance with the company's Code of Conduct.
- Knowledge Sharing: Identify and scale best practices across the organization, driving continuous improvement and innovation in social sustainability efforts.
- Influence & Advocacy: Champion social sustainability initiatives by embedding sustainable decision-making into core business functions and leadership discussions.
- Reporting & Insights: Deliver regular updates to senior management on social sustainability trends, risks, and emerging opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of regional or global progressive experience in sustainability, with a focus on social compliance, human rights, or ethical sourcing. Leadership experience is essential.
- Industry background in retail, fashion, FMCG, or consumer goods is highly preferred.
- Fluent English proficiency (written and spoken), with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities, business acumen, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
