Our client is a global lifestyle fashion brand company with well established presence all over the world and Asia Pacific. They are looking for a seasoned and multi-cultural Global Director of Social Sustainability to join their senior management team for their global business. Their global sustainability function is located in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive global social sustainability roadmap and management support across functions to ensure timely and budget-conscious achievement of sustainability targets.
• Offer management support across functions to ensure timely, risk assessed and budget-conscious achievement of sustainability targets.
• Implement standard operating procedures based on proposed process, organizational, and tool changes.
• Establish effective communication channels with our factories to facilitate the implementation of sustainable practices and the Code of Conduct.
• Scale best practices and lessons learned across the company, sharing knowledge and success stories.
• Drive adoption of sustainability practices through a continuous improvement plan, influencing decisions within existing roles and functions.
• Provide regular updates on sustainability headlines and innovations to the company's management team

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in sustainability or related discipline
• Minimum 6 years experience in sustainability with managerial experience
• Fashion apparel or related industries experience is definitely a plus
• Excellent command in spoken & written English
• Excellent leadership and analytical skills with a strong business sense;
• Mature, self-initiative and possess good interpersonal skills and analytical mind
