We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining a favorable public image for our organization by communicating with the media, the public, clients, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to develop effective PR campaigns that enhance our brands reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage PR strategies and campaigns.

Write press releases, speeches, articles, and other PR materials.

Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and key influencers.

Organize and coordinate press conferences, media interviews, and events.

Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports on PR activities.

Respond to media inquiries and act as a spokesperson when required.

Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, legal, HR, etc.) to ensure cohesive messaging.

Manage crisis communications and provide guidance during reputation management situations.

Analyze PR campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.

Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

2+ years of relevant PR experience preferred.

Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.

Strong organizational and project management abilities.

Proficiency in media monitoring software and social media platforms.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills.

Hourly Pay Rate

Estimated Range: $35 - $55 per hour
