Job Description
- Maintaining computer networks and systems including software, routers
and other physical hardware.
- Provides support for WAN and LAN network connectivity or related network issues for the user community.
- Configure network devices as directed
- Troubleshoot the network services (printing, email service and Internet access, file sharing).
- Analyzes network activity and network problems to discover and prevent systematic errors.
- Apply and implement visualization Technologies on different platforms and applications visualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Backup and restore users files Install, manage and configure servers backup solutions.
- Handles Exchange, office 365 Mailboxes and Archives.
- Run scripts and programs that automate repetitive tasks and data transfer on IT related systems/Tools.
- Ensure timely solution of all first level problems with minimum supervision
- Working with employees to identify computer problems and advising on the solution
- Assist with the installation of new hardware and software
- test new products, run regular maintenance checks and keep up to date with information security issues
- Train employees across multiple departments on network operations including log-in
- procedures, network management software, permissions, printing issues, security and use of software.
- Assist in IT technical support for local and remote users.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience working in IT field
- Experience in data center virtualization (VMware & Hyper-V)
- Experience with network (LAN, WAN) installation, configuration and analysis
- Experience in Exchange and office 365
- Good Knowledge at Cloud Solution (Azure and AWS) and HV service
- Experience in data backup/recovery systems.
- Experience with Software and hardware installation
- Knowledge in Windows Server, antiviruses and Firewall fundamentals
- Very Good Knowledge of MCSA and MCSE, certification is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to handle multitasking on a time
- Excellent communication skills
- Very good research and problem-solving skills
- Excellent firewalls knowledge (Sophos, FortiGate, .etc.)
- Good Knowledge of web application, load balancers
- Good knowledge of VoIP solutions
- Good Knowledge in Linux OS
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
