We are seeking a Senior Vendor Manager to manage and coordinate freelance resources, ensuring efficient recruitment, allocation, and performance monitoring for projects. This includes maintaining a resource database, overseeing vendor relations, managing budgets, and ensuring quality standards are met while addressing any resource gaps.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and update a database of freelance resources (translators, proofreaders, DTP specialists, etc.).

  • Define and evaluate requirements for external resources, and propose effective solutions to meet project and organizational needs.

  • Post job openings, manage CVs, and source candidates online.

  • Oversee the recruitment, screening, and qualification of external linguistic resources based on specialization and budget.

  • Handle vendor placement requests from Project Managers, Account Managers, and Business Development teams to ensure optimal resource allocation.

  • Provide data and support to other departments as needed.

  • Develop and implement qualification tests, including handling test translations to ensure vendor quality.

  • Negotiate terms with vendors, maintain contract records, and keep vendor information up-to-date.

  • Supervise vendor relations, including financial matters, risk management, problem-solving, and administrative issues.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, engage with professional organizations, and promote best practices in talent management.

  • Monitor vendor progress, address issues, and update the resource database to reflect development and performance improvements.

  • Comply with the Company's Quality Management System relating to Vendor Management.

  • Provide support and guidance to solve and direct all vendors' problems as required.


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

  • Excellent verbal and written English

  • Advanced expertise in localization technologies and global workflows.

  • Strategic proficiency in vendor lifecycle management and optimization.

  • Exceptional research, analytical, and leadership coordination skills.
