About the job DTP Team Lead (Hybrid)

Job purpose: Managing the Desktop Publishing stage according to the company code of quality and the client's expected quality.

Key accountabilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of desktop publishers.

  • Create detailed quotes and establish turnaround times (TAT) for projects, ensuring the PM team is well-positioned to secure tasks and respond effectively to Requests for Quotations (RFQs).

  • Handle assigned tasks from the PMs, such as Desktop Publishing (DTP) full formatting and the Quality Assurance (QA) phase for both in-house and freelance projects.

  • Assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor team performance to ensure timely and high quality output.

  • Participate in the recruitment cycle for the department.

  • Coordinate with PMs, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.

  • Run analysis for DTP kits to make an estimation of the time required to complete the job, and to report any missing files or incomplete information.

  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure all outputs meet the highest standards.

Must have qualifications:

  • University Degree.

  • Excellent knowledge of InDesign, Word, PowerPoint, MS Publisher, AutoCAD, FrameMaker (Latin & Arabic), QuarkXPress, Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

  • Able to provide technical support in all the above

  • Good Knowledge of Mac OS, besides excellent knowledge of Windows OS.

  • Delivering one-shot files with high-quality standards (0.5 points per page Max.).

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of desktop publishers.

  • Create detailed quotes and establish turnaround times (TAT) for projects.

  • Ensuring the utilization of the team.

  • Participate in the recruitment cycle for the department.

Work Conditions:

  • Hybrid
  • Working Days: 5
  • Days Off: Saturday and Sunday

Working Hours: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
