About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing payroll operations across Egypt, KSA, UAE, and Qatar, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal company policies. This is a key role requiring strong regional payroll experience, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process across Egypt, KSA, UAE, and Qatar, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with local laws and company policies.
  • Validate attendance, overtime, leaves, and other relevant data for payroll inputs across different countries.
  • Accurately calculate salaries, bonuses, commissions, deductions, social insurance, and other employee benefits according to each country's regulations.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to process employee life cycle events (onboarding, promotions, transfers, and terminations) in payroll systems.
  • Ensure correct and timely filing of all statutory obligations related to payroll (e.g., income tax filings, social insurance submissions) in each country.
  • Manage social insurance registrations, amendments, and cancellations for applicable countries (especially Egypt).
  • Prepare and submit all payroll-related reports required by internal stakeholders, auditors, and external authorities.
  • Act as the point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries across the region, providing high-quality service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Support Finance in payroll reconciliation, audits, and reporting.
  • Keep up-to-date with labor, social insurance, and tax law changes in Egypt, KSA, UAE, and Qatar.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvements to payroll processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing payroll in Egypt, with exposure to payroll operations in other GCC countries (preferably KSA, UAE, or Qatar).
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Egyptian labor law, tax, and social insurance regulations
  • GCC labor and tax practices (knowledge of end-of-service benefits, WPS in KSA/UAE, GOSI, etc.)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle regional responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience managing payroll for 500+ employees across multiple countries.
  • Familiarity with WPS (Wage Protection System) processes in KSA and UAE.
  • Experience dealing with external payroll providers and auditors.
  • Certification in Payroll, HR, or Taxation is a plus.
