Business Head - Glass (Perfume/Costmetics)

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Head - Glass to lead and drive the glass packaging division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business management, a deep understanding of the glass packaging in the perfume or cosmetics industry, and the ability to align glass product strategies with the overall goals of the perfume business. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our glass packaging solutions meet the highest standards of quality, innovation, and market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement the strategic business plan for the glass packaging division aligned with the overall corporate objectives.

• Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to capitalize on opportunities for growth.

• Drive innovation in glass product design and manufacturing to support brand aesthetics and functionality.

Business Development & Sales

• Lead business development efforts to acquire new clients and expand market share in the perfume industry.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.

• Develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive advantage.

Operations Management

• Oversee the end-to-end supply chain for glass packaging, including sourcing, manufacturing, quality control, and logistics.

• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality glass products.

• Monitor operational KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Financial Management

• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the glass division.

• Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions to achieve revenue and profit targets.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.

Team Leadership & Development

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team across sales, operations, and technical functions.

• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer focus.

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive business objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in business leadership roles within the glass packaging or related industry, preferably in the perfume or cosmetic goods sector.

• Strong knowledge of glass manufacturing processes, quality standards, and market dynamics.

• Proven track record of driving business growth, managing P&L, and leading cross-functional teams.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
