COBOL Engineer - Applicative Corrective Maintenance w. French

We are looking for Senior Cobol Engineers to join our fast-growing team.

Your role is to ensure service continuity, to guarantee application(s) quality and to maintain the application(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Resolve incidents, analyze problems, and implement small request for change by following the development phases (coding, unit test) in consistency with the assets
• Provide quality users assistance
• Answer to different service requests (reporting, recurrent tasks)
• Meet the objectives related to its application (availability time, incidents time resolution)
• Ensure the necessary data transfer between applications
• Update documents after each change
• Propose and implement actions to simplify applications, optimize processes and automate tasks
• Follow and enforce norms and standards, security rules

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of technical profile faculty
• Experience in COBOL programming (minimum 4 years)
• Experience with Mainframe, JCL, DB2
• Experience in application support
• Synthesis Capacity
• Customer Orientation
• Initiative Capacity
• Mandatory English and French skills.
