The role holder drives local enterprise participation in Brunei's supply chains by on-boarding demand onto DARe LINKS, improving visibility of opportunities, and facilitating business linkages between buyers and local enterprises, while supporting industry development through market insights and engagement.
Roles & Responsibilities:
A. Primary Role
- Drive client acquisition and onboarding onto DARe LINKS to list procurement opportunities
- Maintain and manage the DARe LINKS platform, opportunity listings, and enterprise database, ensuring data accuracy, relevance, governance, and protection of information
- Improve visibility of demand by tracking and surfacing demand-led opportunities from anchor companies and investors, with clear scope, requirements, and timelines
- Facilitate business linkages by matching local enterprises to identified opportunities, including proactive sourcing of vendors (on and off platform) and supporting their participation
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to encourage sharing of forward pipeline and upcoming demand
- Develop and execute outreach and marketing efforts to promote DARe LINKS, its opportunities, and drive participation
- Coordinate and support networking sessions, business matching events, advisory clinics, and engagement activities
- Provide feedback to clients on market response and participation to improve opportunity outcomes
- Track, compile, and analyse engagement and opportunity data, and support preparation of dashboards, reports, and ICV performance insights
- Provide operational, logistical, and administrative support for linkage initiatives and engagements
B. Secondary Role (Support to Industry Development)
- Identify and flag capability gaps based on market engagement and linkage activities
- Support development of industry/company longlists by mapping relevant local enterprises within targeted sectors
- Support industry engagements (e.g. focus groups, workshops), including coordination and follow-ups
- Contribute insights to support capability-building and vendor development initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Typically 0-3 years of relevant work experience in business development, stakeholder engagement, partnerships, project management, or related field.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Good understanding of business environment and procurement/supply chain processes.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Proactive and able to drive outreach and engagement independently.
- Ability to assess opportunities and match with suitable vendors.
- Experience in marketing, outreach, or campaign execution is an advantage.
- Experience in industry engagements or event facilitation is an advantage.
- Familiarity with data tracking tools or platforms (e.g. CRM, Airtable) is a plus.
