This role supports the implementation of endorsed investment projects by coordinating with investors, government agencies and relevant stakeholders to facilitate project implementation and resolve operational issues.
The role focuses on supporting project facilitation, monitoring implementation progress and ensuring investors receive timely coordination support throughout the pre-implementation, implementation and operational stages of the FDI project lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
A. Project Facilitation & Coordination
- Coordinate with investors and relevant government agencies to facilitate permits, approvals and regulatory processes required for project implementation.
- Assist investors in navigating regulatory and administrative requirements for project implementation.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues affecting project progress.
B. Project Monitoring & Implementation Support
- Monitor the progress of endorsed investment projects and track implementation milestones.
- Maintain records of project status, issues and actions required to support implementation.
- Assist in identifying potential bottlenecks and coordinating follow-up actions with relevant stakeholders.
C. Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate engagement between investors, government agencies and service providers involved in project implementation.
- Support discussions and meetings with stakeholders to address project-related issues.
- Maintain working relationships with relevant agencies and partners involved in facilitating investments.
D. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare project briefs, status updates and reports on project implementation progress.
- Support preparation of updates for internal reporting, including management and inter-agency discussions.
- Maintain documentation related to project facilitation, approvals and stakeholder engagement.
E. Aftercare Support
- Support ongoing engagement with investors during the operational stage to identify issues, expansion opportunities or operational challenges.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address issues raised by investors.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate in Degree level or higher, preferably in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy or related disciplines from a reputable academic institution.
- Typically 0–3 years of relevant work experience in project coordination, public relations, stakeholder engagement, investment facilitation or related fields.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internship or project experience may also be considered.
- Basic understanding of stakeholder coordination and project implementation processes.
- Ability to prepare clear documentation including meeting notes, reports and briefing materials.
- Good organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Malay and English
- Computer literate with working knowledge of common office software including spreadsheets, presentations and document preparation.
