About the job [F/2026/011X] Executive Officer, Strategic Delivery, Enterprise Development (DARe) - 1 position
This role is key in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic initiatives within the department. Working under the direct guidance of the Manager and Director, the Executive Officer ensures the effective delivery of enterprise programmes and initiatives, stakeholder engagement initiatives, and performance monitoring frameworks that align with departmental goals and broader organisational priorities. Also tracking progress against defined goals and KPIs; gathering relevant data and insights to assess the performance of strategic initiatives; and supporting the preparation of reports and presentations to communicate progress and outcomes to the teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
A. Strategic Project Coordination
- Coordinate assigned strategic initiatives across internal teams and stakeholders.
- Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely implementation.
- Identify risks or bottlenecks and escalate issues with proposed mitigation strategies.
B. Departmental Performance Monitoring
- Track programme outcomes, KPIs, and progress of departmental initiatives.
- Compile performance updates for leadership reporting and strategic oversight.
C. Strategic Planning Support
- Assist in the development of departmental work plans and priority initiatives.
- Support alignment of programmes and projects with strategic goals and performance frameworks.
- Contribute to programme design and improvement through research, data analysis, and stakeholder consultation.
D. Briefings and Strategic Documentation
- Prepare reports, strategy papers, presentation decks, and executive or ministerial briefings.
- Support leadership with high-quality documentation for decision-making and communications.
E. Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with internal teams, government agencies, and external stakeholders.
- Represent the department in meetings or working groups when required.
F. Governance and Compliance
- Ensure project documentation, reporting, and processes adhere to governance standards.
- Support compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
G. Departmental Reporting and Coordination
- Compile weekly team updates into the Monthly Board Report for leadership review and approval.
- Coordinate monthly check-ins with Director, Deputy Director, and divisions.
- Support Monthly Business Review meetings with ACEO, including preparation of KPI and performance updates.
H. Budget and Financial Monitoring
- Maintain and update departmental spending reports and budget tracking.
- Coordinate with Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting and distribution to relevant teams.
I. Administrative and Operational Support
- Provide administrative support to Director and Deputy Director, including meeting coordination and document ation.
- Facilitate logistical arrangements, templates, and internal information sharing.
- Conduct weekly verification of payment records with Finance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate in Degree level or higher, preferably in Business, Economics, Strategic Management, Political Science, Data Analytics, Public Policy, or other related fields from a reputable academic institution.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, strategy, programme management, programme design, analysis, or performance monitoring.
- Strong project coordination and delivery support capabilities.
- Ability to assist in strategic planning and manage programme timelines.
- Competent in KPI tracking, performance monitoring, and reporting.
- Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong executive‑level writing, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Proficient in data organisation, analysis, and reporting tools.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, accountable, and solution‑oriented in approach.
- Adaptable to shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
