About the job Sales Rep
Job Purpose:
To drive business growth by identifying and developing new sales opportunities in the FMCG sector. The Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase sales in assigned territory.

Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distribution partners.

Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, competitor activity, and market trends.

Promote and sell FMCG products to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with clients to maximize profitability.

Coordinate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and in-store displays.

Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics.

Gather customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams to improve product offerings and service levels.

Ensure timely collection of payments and resolve any issues related to deliveries or product complaints.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sales Representative in the FMCG sector (25 years preferred).

Strong knowledge of the FMCG market, distribution channels, and consumer behavior.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively.
