A growing frozen food distribution business operating across Ireland and Northern Ireland is seeking a Commercial Manager to support the expansion of its product portfolio and customer base.

The company partners with a range of frozen food brands and distributes products to retail and convenience customers across the region.

Role Overview

This role combines commercial management, product sourcing, and operational oversight.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new product opportunities, managing supplier relationships, supporting sales growth, and ensuring efficient product flow across the distribution network.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with key retail and convenience partners.

• Identify and source new frozen product opportunities.

• Negotiate supplier agreements and manage product purchasing.

• Analyse sales performance and identify growth opportunities.

• Support operational planning including stock management and supply coordination.

• Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure efficient product distribution.

• Develop pricing and promotional strategies with customers.

• Monitor margin performance across the product portfolio.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in FMCG, food distribution, retail buying, or category management.

• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.

• Experience sourcing or buying products.

• Commercially focused with strong analytical capability.

• Understanding of distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, growing business environment.
