Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will oversee the full range of Human Resources functions and collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives. They will strengthen the organization by developing, implementing, and assessing HR policies, programs, and practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, safety regulations, and other employment-related requirements.
- Manage employee relations, including addressing grievances, conflicts, and other workplace issues.
- Oversee recruitment and selection activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonus plans, and employee benefits.
- Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files, attendance records, and other HR-related documentation.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage and mentor HR staff, including providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and environmental policies.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour compliance, workplace safety, and other employment-related requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of developing and executing HR strategies that drive organizational success.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experienced in managing, mentoring, and developing HR teams.
