Job Description:

Type of Employee: Professional

Job Purpose: 

  1. To execute Athars accounting requirements at an exemplary standard, to include managing ingoing and outgoing expenses, record keeping, filing, and reporting.
  2. Responsibility for day-to-day operations which will require monitoring, recommending, and documenting expenses

Qualifications:

  1.  Minimum Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years experience in a related role
  3. Professional certificates such as CPA, CFA, ACCA are preferable but not required

Skills:

  1. Responsible for reviewing, entering and maintaining all general ledger journal transactions to the general ledger.
  2. Maintaining reconciliations of all general ledger accounts with supporting sub ledgers.
  3. Reviewing invoices and credits with supporting documentations for all expense requests.
  4. Manages all aspects of the monthly expense documentation and reporting
  5. Assisting in financial recommendations and budgeting
    Maintaining accounting files and approvals for all invoices, disbursements and expenses.
