As Best & Less continues to grow and expand our store network, we are building a strong pipeline of talented leaders across QLD. We're seeking Expressions of Interest from people who are passionate about leading teams, elevating customer experiences, and driving performance in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Whether your strengths lie in people leadership, operations, customer experience, stock flow, visual merchandising, coaching, or multi‑site support, we are building a flexible leadership pipeline that can support a variety of roles as opportunities arise.

What our leaders do

• Leading teams to deliver consistent, warm, high‑quality customer experiences
• Managing busy operations with pace, clarity and strong prioritisation
• Giving clear instructions and setting expectations that keep teams aligned
• Supporting stores through coaching, capability building, and hands‑on leadership
• Maintaining outstanding stock flow, BOH organisation and floor standards
• Ensuring fast, accurate stock processing to keep product available for customers
• Running efficient daily operations including rostering, task planning and decision‑making
• Creating welcoming, standards‑driven store environments that customers love
• Supporting multiple stores or focus areas where extra leadership impact is needed

About You

We're looking for leaders who bring:

• Experience in retail leadership (Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, 2IC, Key Holder, Department/Zone/VM lead or similar)
• Confidence working in high‑volume, fast‑paced environments
• Strong commercial awareness and an ability to influence results
• A hands‑on, energetic approach — leading from the front
• Exceptional operational capability and attention to detail
• A passion for great customer service and high standards
• The ability to thrive through pace, pressure, and change
• A growth mindset and a desire to develop yourself and others

These roles are active and customer‑facing — you'll be on your feet, supporting your team, helping customers, moving stock, and creating great store experiences.
